MEET BROOKE

BROOKE PETERSON’s career in lifestyles has spanned television, print and helped to challenge the possibilities of new media. Brooke has spent her entire life gathering experience in every facet of lifestyles from food and fashion to home decor and entertaining.
Starting as a young girl working in the kitchen with her grandmother she learned to feed lots of people for a small amount of money. After mastering the kitchen, she went to work at her mother’s couture design company; where she learned to design a variety of soft goods from dresses to drapes.
Brooke’s foray into new media began on Varsity Television with the teen cooking show ‘Cook with Brooke.’ In 2006, she created and starred in ‘Cheap N Easy’ on YAHOO! a cooking and lifestyles original series. An instant hit, ‘Cheap N’ Easy’ features Brooke’s own recipes and entertaining tips; teaching her audience to prepare meals in less than five minutes, using under five ingredients, all while costing less than five dollars. Brooke’s quick wit, humor and tremendous attention to budget allowed her to stand strong among the three other talent on the site including Martha Stewart, Wolfgang Puck and Rachael Ray.
Named by various newspapers and media outlets as ‘one to watch,’ Brooke has worked as a correspondent for Showtime, V.I.P. Access, The T.V. Guide Channel, The Style Network, and most recently The Rachael Ray Show on CBS.
Brooke has started a fashion company, an event planning company, and catered numerous prestigious events around the country. Her musings can always be found on her website WWW.THINGSYOURMOTHERNEVERTAUGHTYOU.COM.
